CDP staff attorneys Alice Cherry and Ted Hamilton have written a short post for the I Heart Climate Voices blog. The post argues that courts and governments routinely misapply the law to protect the fossil fuel industry, and that the legal system will tacitly support the fossil fuel economy unless and until protest and social movements force changes in the legal landscape.
