Harvard Crimson Op Ed Calls on School Leadership to Treat Student Protesters Fairly

The Harvard Crimson ran an op-ed today co-written by CDP staff attorney Ted Hamilton, along with other former leaders of the Fossil Fuel Divest Harvard campaign. The piece notes the alarming disparity in the severity of the response by Harvard’s administration to protests against genocide in Gaza, as compared to fossil fuel divestment protests in 2014, 2015, and 2016, and calls on the administration to heed student demands, as it has repeatedly done in the past in the face of moral pressure.
