Co-Founder and Staff Attorney
Alice grew up in Illinois, studying anthropology and environmental policy at Northwestern University. Her love of gardening and little-known varieties of plants led to an interest in seed banking and climate resilience. While in law school, student-led movements for fossil fuel divestment and racial justice were among Alice’s most formative experiences; she also interned at the Sierra Club and the California Office of the Attorney General. Alice is licensed to practice law in the State of Washington.
