Naina is an undergraduate student at Yale College with a background in local and national climate justice organizing. She served as a national spokesperson and partnerships coordinator for the Sunrise Movement, and represented Sunrise in the U.S. Youth Climate Strike Coalition. She also worked with Future Coalition’s Youth Climate Finance Project to support teenage activists’ campaigns against fossil fuel financing in their communities. Currently, she works with the Yale Endowment Justice Coalition and maintains ties to local efforts in her hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Outside of the climate space, she works with Know Your IX’s Policy and Advocacy Team to defend the civil rights of student sexual assault survivors nationwide. She has been featured in media outlets such as USA Today, NPR, Teen Vogue, and The Guardian.
